11th Annual Potter’s Bowl

On Saturday, January 30th, Community Caregivers is hosting their eleventh annual Potter’s Bowl fundraiser from 5-8PM. For a $40 ticket, patrons are able to pick a handcrafted pottery bowl, all donated by local New Hampshire artists. There will be over a dozen different types of soup donated from local restaurants around the Derry area as well as breads, desserts, and other goodies to enjoy. Take away soup sold in last hour for $5. A pottery wheel demonstration will be occurring in the hour prior to the event for waiting patrons. We will be featuring a 50/50 raffle again as an added fundraiser for the agency. The world famous Red Star Twirlers will be serving at the event. There will also be musical entertainment and a silent auction with items donated from other New England artists and craftsmen. Auction items include gift certificates, oil paintings, acrylic paintings, matted photography, watercolor, and handcrafted jewelry. The value of all art donated amounts to over $5,000. It is not too late to donate your fine art, pottery or homemade craft to a good cause.

The event is to be now held at the Pinkerton Academy Freshman Cafeteria in Derry, NH. It is an artistic event full of fun and lots of great food to help support a local nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the elderly and disabled in our area. Tickets went on sale Monday, January 4th and sell out quickly.
