Why Donate to Community Caregivers of Greater Derry
Community Caregivers of Greater Derry celebrated its 37th Anniversary in 2025. Although a good portion of our funding comes from the Towns we serve and corporate and private foundations, nearly half of the funding we need to support our work comes from donations from individuals during our Annual Appeal or one of our Fundraising events. We receive no funding from the State of New Hampshire or the federal government.

Funding aside, the communities we serve turn to us because...
- Our staff are experts in helping older adults and people with disabilities. Our staff have over 61 years of combined experience and sincerely enjoy working with the population we serve. When vulnerable community members need care outside of our scope, we connect them with other community resources available in the area to help them.
- The relationships our staff and volunteers develop with vulnerable community members help them remain in their own homes for longer with increased safety and dignity. Many of these volunteer matches last for years and become equally rewarding for both the client and the volunteer.
- We mobilize our community by recruiting and matching local volunteers with vulnerable neighbors.
